Premier Inn Chesterfield Town Centre at Elder Way has been crowned Hotel of the Year in the prestigious Whitbread Celebrates awards.
The accolade recognised the hotel's exceptional service and cleanliness, setting it apart from over 800 other Premier Inn locations across the UK.
Opening in 2019, the 92-bed Premier Inn was the first tenant at Jomast's Elder Way development.
At the award ceremony, the hotel was praised for having one of the best cleanliness scores in the Whitbread estate and consistently high service scores. The award highlighted the collaboration and community fostered by the site management, which has led to impressive year-on-year growth.
Kerry Hardy, manager of the hotel, said, "It's just amazing. I've got a great team, and they deserve it. We all work hard, pull together, and are a happy bunch."
The hotel's success results from the team's collective effort and camaraderie, consistently delivering outstanding service to its guests.
The Premier Inn Chesterfield Town Centre at Elder Way is the first hotel in the region to win the award, beating Manchester Piccadilly and London Beckton Premier Inn to win the coveted title.
Kerry added: "When the highly commended hotels were Manchester Piccadilly and London Beckton, we thought we were never going to do it – but we did. It just goes to show the service we give to guests, the cleanliness of rooms and how we deliver day in and day out."
The hotel, which has been open for six years, also achieved an all-green Wincard for the first time this year. This accomplishment is based on 16 measures, with the hotel meeting the company's highest cleanliness and service targets every month.
